Abstract
Angioleiomyoma, a benign tumor originating from smooth muscle cell of vascular wall, is rare in the head and neck region. We report a case of angioleiomyoma of the nasal dorsum. 43-year-old woman visited our clinic complaining a small, painless mass in the right nasal dorsum. In PNS CT scan, there was a 2 ¡¿ 1.5 cm sized well defined enhancing mass and eroded nasal bone on right nasal dorsum. The mass was excised completely without significant bleeding and eroded nasal bone was augmented by endonasal approach. Histopathologically, it was well circumscribed and composed of proliferating smooth muscle fibers and dilated blood vessels. During 16 months of follow up, there was no recurrence and her dorsal aesthetic line was corrected well.
